Revium Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

1. About this policy

Revium is a community-run revival project for Rec Room. This policy explains what data the Revium app, launcher, servers and website (together, “Revium”) collect, why we collect it, and how you can have it deleted.

Revium is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rec Room Inc.

2. Data we collect

We only collect data that Revium needs to run. Here is what that includes:

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. How we use your data

4. Who we share data with

Content you choose to make public, such as your username, profile picture, rooms and photos, is visible to other players and may appear on the Revium website.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We only share it with service providers that host our servers and website, and only so they can run those services for us. We may also disclose data if the law requires it or to protect the safety of our users.

5. How long we keep data

We keep account and content data for as long as your account exists. Technical logs are kept for a short period, usually no longer than 90 days, unless we need them to investigate abuse or a security issue.

6. Deleting your data

Every user has the right to ask for their data to be deleted, regardless of where they live. To do this:

  1. Send an email to noah@recqu.de.
  2. Use the subject “Revium data deletion request”.
  3. Include your Revium username, so we can find your account. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we delete anything.

We will confirm your request and delete your account data within 30 days. This covers your account, profile, photos, rooms and other content linked to your account, and it removes your photos from the Revium website. Some limited records, such as moderation logs or backups, may remain for a short time where we need them for safety or legal reasons. They are removed on a regular schedule afterwards.

Deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask us to:

To use any of these rights, email noah@recqu.de. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Revium is not meant for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by the law where you live. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email noah@recqu.de and we will delete it.

9. Security

We protect your data with reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as encrypted connections and restricted server access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will also announce them in the Revium community.
